Joseph Vincent LaFrance of Avondale
Joseph Vincent LaFrance, 71, of Avondale, died Saturday March 24, 2012, at the Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester. He was the loving companion of the late Shelly R. Watson who died in 2003. Born in West Chester, he was a son of the late James V. and Jessie Lemmon LaFrance. Joey owned and operated his own mushroom growing business for over 30 years in Avondale. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered by his genuine smile. Survivors include two daughters, Lauren N. LaFrance of Doylestown and Robyne Watson of Chambersburg; one brother, Richie LaFrance of Avondale; his twin sister, Josephine Fragale of Avondale; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Angela LaFrance Welsh, one sister Catherine LaFrance Ferranto and three brothers, David, Ralphe and Pete. You are invited to visit with Joseph V. LaFrance’s family from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 30, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home Inc. (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA 19348. A service celebrating his life will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
